Our rice paddy and village trek takes you off the beaten track to discover panoramic views where tourists rarely tread, as well as discovering a hidden world of magnificent flora and fauna. You will be offered a chance to see traditional rural life unchanged for thousand years and follow farmer’s trails through green paddy fields, observing the timeless routines of planting and harvesting. You will visit a traditional village, a small water temple deep in the heart of a bamboo forest and plantations of oranges, tapioca and sugar cane to a backdrop of unspoiled Balinese countryside. Your trek begins at the sleepy village of Taro, which is famous for its world class Elephant Safari Park. Finally at the end of your trek you will find a welcoming cold drink and a buffet lunch served at the Elephant Safari Park restaurant, overlooking its scenic lake. Tour includes air conditioned hotel transfers, full buffet lunch and insurance. Tour not suitable for children under 6 y.o.
