GATEWAY TO INDIA – SEMINYAK

For lovers of Indian food, this is a great place to enjoy many traditional recipes and some exciting new ones, It is located in Bali’s ‘Drink Street’ (Jl. Dhyana Pura) and you can get a good lining to your stomach here before hitting the bars. Very reasonable prices and it is also popular with the Indian community in Bali so that tells you something.

KAMA SUTRA – KUTA BEACH

This is an intriguing mixture of a great night-club and a restaurant serving tasty and well-presented Indian food. The Place is exotic, with Indian style décor and even the staff wear Indian dress, but they manage to keep the prices to an acceptable level.

KIN KHAO – TUBAN, LEGIAN & SEMINYAK

This is a group of Thai restaurants with similar menus but each restaurant has its own style. Kin Khao has been established in Bali for a long time and you can be sure that whichever outlet you go to, the food will tantalise your palate with some aromatic curries, soups and salads at reasonable prices.

PADI – AT THE RITZ CARLTON

Some original recipes from an old kingdom have arrived at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort and Spa with a new look, new menu and a new chef, Nu Suandokmai, hwo spiced things up for the re-launch of Padi last month. The restaurant’s transformation is part of a mojor re-launch, heralding an innovative approach to Thai cuisine, by celebrated Chef Nu whose unrivalled authenticity, traditional techniques and revered recipes earned him the coveted position of steering the latest restaurant toward a new era. Padi Restaurant has truly authentic dishes with modern, stylish presentation.
