Situated in Jalan Kunti, Bale Bali combines ancient traditional
recipes with new age health-conscious cooking. This is reputed
to be a unique dining experience and guests are assured that no
MSG is used. It is open from lunch to dinner and you should look
at the blend of chinese and Javanese design.
Golden Lotus – At the Bali Dynasty Resort
This is an authentic and elegantly designed chinese restaurant
within the resort, where all the usual chinese favourites can
be found; including peking duck, spicy szechuan dishes and classic
Cantonese items, yum cha is also available. Try the Sunday you
can eat dim sum lunch between 10 am and 2.30 pm for just Rp. 50.000

The Mandarin – Tuban
If you really like chinese food, you could do a lot worse than
try the Mandarin in Jl. Kartika Plaza. Although fairly up-market,
you can get traditional chinese cuisine at sensible price here.
Kedai Restaurant – Candidasa
May be not too many tourist get as far as this but Kedai is a
great place to stop off for lunch if you are driving up to Amed
for diving or just for a but of peace and quiet. Asian food cuisine
is excellent in this elegantly designed beach front restaurant
and the staff are so friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in
the area.
Nelayan – at Pansea Puri Bali – Jimbaran
Jimbaran beach is noted for its plethora of fish restaurants
on the beach but if you want to move up-market try Nelayan restaurant
as the location is great and the seafood is as fresh as it could
possibly be. With an excellent new chef, it will also be cooked
in a way to set your taste buds tingling.
Kisik – at the Ritz Charlton
Excellent food is always to be expected in this establishment,
whether in the Sami-Sami Italian restaurant, the newly re-launched
Padi restaurant or any other outlet. Kisik seafood restaurant
is an ideal complement and with the proximity of the resort to
Jimbaran bay, the freshness of all ingredients can be guaranteed.
The pleasure doesn’t stop with the delicious grilled fish
and other seafood, there are also some stunning views to enjoy.
PJ’s at the Four Season Resort – Jimbaran
For some wonderful daily seafood specials, while enjoying a great
view over Jimbaran bay, PJ’s is most assuredly a restaurant
deserving of your attention. Do leave a space for dessert because
there are some terrific miniature version of the most popular
items; try the frozen tiramisu “minimizu” without
worrying about the calories.
