A great golf course design by 'The
Great white shark' Greg Norman, arguably one of the most
succesful golf course designer in Australia, yet the world. The
Nirwana Bali Golf Course overlook the Indian Ocean with Bali's
most famous temple the "Tanah Lot", majestically silhouetted
in the background.
Greg Norman himself, who enjoyed an illustrious success with
more then 80 victories in his professional careers such as the
British Open in 1986 and 1993 regards this course as golfer's
dreamland, and as the name itself, translated in Balinese as Nirvana
or Moksah (the afterlife world), the Nirwana Bali Golf Course
certainly prove a heaven on Earth every serious golfer's would
dreamed of playing.
The Nirwana Bali Golf hosted the Bali invitational 2002 for
Bali for the world recovery program after the devastating Bali
Bombing tragedy (oct 12th) 2002 with Nick Faldo, Robert Allenby
and Ernie Els took part in the charity game. |
